My Work
My passion for photography started in about 2016 when I bought my first camera. I started taking photos of flowers and birds in the garden and now I enjoy a range of photography, with wildlife at the top of my list. Have a look at some of my favourites!
Birds
Birds are everywhere. They are the perfect models with their beautiful feathers, varying sizes and shapes, and funny little behaviours. I love spending time getting the right lighting and framing for each one.
Wildlife
As someone who has grown up having holidays in Kruger National Park and other wildlife and nature reserves, wildlife has always had a special place in my heart. Being able to capture moments with some magnificent creatures is a privilege to me.
People
Being someone who prefers to be behind the camera rather than in front, I always try to make people feel comfortable and natural in a shoot. I don't often take photos of people, but when I do I want it to be ennjoyable for everyone.
Dogs
Aside from having two of my own models at home, I will always be happy to take photos of other dogs. A project in first year got me hooked on taking photos of dogs. In addition to hobby photos, I also enjoy taking adoptions photos for the AWSS.
